The Fantastic Four are relaxing in Central Park. Thing is posing for Alicia Masters while Reed and Sue have a picnic. Sue reveals to Reed that she is pregnant. Meanwhile, the Human Torch is training hard, still angry over leaving Crystal and the Inhumans. Their peaceful day is interrupted by Terrax, herald of Galactus, and he plans to destroy the team because they are a threat to his master. Within moments Reed and Sue are incapacitated and the Thing is seriously injured. After seeing what is happening on the news, Johnny arrives on the scene, just in time to save Sue's life. Johnny and the Thing manage to take Terrax temporarily out of the picture in order for Sue to make an escape. But soon they find themselves face to face with two more heralds, Firelord and Plasma.
